Nanaimo's FIRST bellydance bazaar and fundraiser
Our FIRST Nanaimo bazaar and fundraiser on June 20, 2009 raised almost $1000 for Haven Society - thanks for contributing to its success! The Second Annual Bazaar will be held Saturday June 19, 2010.

JOY in Middle Eastern Dance - Nanaimo workshop
Famous Lebanese choreographer Ibrahim “Bobby” Farrah always spoke of Middle Eastern traditional dance as “happy dance”. This Sunday session explores techniques, music, traditional styles and performance/improvisation strategies that emphasize joyful dimensions of the dance.
